I can’t help but laugh at the Youtube comments on ambient Aphex Twin tracks. There are so many hobby groups, fanbases, etc, that fight endlessly about who or what is best, why something sucks or why it’s great. But the youtube comment section under any Aphex Twin song is full of every kind of emotion, saved lives, general love for not only the music, but one another. It’s a peace treaty among overly passionate consumers of art, a place we’re all welcome to share our feelings and memories without fear of judgement. I find these comments so beautiful, so touching.
