clean plate club - fennel anchovy pasta

i made fresh spaghetti with the pasta roller dove got me for my birthday and dove made this wild sauce with fennel anchovies pine nuts raisins shallot, some cinnamon to warm it up. on top of the spaghetti and sauce was some bread crumbs, and on the bread crumbs, parsley and garlic, and of course some parm to top it off. i don’t even think about how weird a dish sounds anymore. i just eat it. two plates because dove couldn’t finish which is not clean plate club behavior, so i had to come through and finish it to avoid a mark on our reputation.
